Monmouth Scores in Three Women's Events on Wednesday at CAA Indoor Championships

Virginia Beach, VA - Monmouth women's track & field scored 11 points on Wednesday at the Coastal Athletic Association Indoor Championships in Virginia Beach.

The Hawks' first medal of the two-day meet came in the pole vault as Gretel Jelmert cleared 3.78m to finish third. Katie Fisher added seventh-place points to the effort.

Flavia Daniels earned 2 team points for her Pentathlon performance. The other Hawks' point belongs to the eight-place distance medley relay.

Elon's 48.5 points top the team standings heading into Day 2. Northeastern is second with 46.5 points.
