West Long Branch, NJ - Monmouth unveiled the official game schedule for the University's 30th season of women's lacrosse.
The Hawks are slated to play 16 regular season contests over a three-month span that starts with a non-conference visit to Colgate on February 7.
Monmouth will face opponents from five different conferences —Patriot League, Big Ten, America East, Ivy League, MAAC— during the non-league portion of its schedule. The Hawks will entertain Garden State rivals Rutgers (Feb. 12) and Rider (Mar. 5) at the Jersey Shore.
Monmouth begins its eight-game Coastal Athletic Association slate against Elon in West Long Branch on March 15. The Hawks will also host CAA members Delaware (Mar. 30), Drexel (Apr. 10) and Hofstra (Apr. 19) this spring.
It'll be the Hawks' third season playing a CAA schedule with a total of nine league members competing in 2025. The top-four CAA regular season finishers will earn spots in the conference tournament, which is set for May 1 & 3. The tournament champion will earn an automatic berth into the NCAA Championship bracket.
There are eight total home games on Monmouth's schedule. All games will be played at Kessler Stadium with the exception of the March 5 matchup against Rider, which will take place on Hesse Field. The home schedule opens on February 12 at 2 p.m. ET against Big Ten member Rutgers. The home finale is slated for April 19 against Hofstra at 12 p.m. ET.Â
