MANAHAWKIN, N.J. – Jessie Eiselin,
Sofia Fouces, and
Jess Tucker were named to the 2024 National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division I Watch List, the group announced Thursday.
This list is intended to showcase those field hockey student-athletes with the strongest potential for consideration to the current year's NFHCA All-Region and All-American teams. To be nominated for the 2024 NFHCA Watchlist, student-athletes must have been previously recognized for their outstanding field hockey abilities within the past two years (NFHCA All-Region, NFHCA All-American, All-Conference, Senior Nexus Championship selection, NCAA All-Tournament Team, and/or U.S. National or International Team roster) and the student-athlete's head coach must be an active NFHCA member.
Fouces, a senior, looks to repeat as the CAA's Offensive Player of the Year after tallying a league-best 18 goals and 42 points – each of which ranked inside the top 10 nationally. Tucker, a fellow senior, joined Fouces on the All-CAA First Team after posting 22 points in 2023. Sophomore goalkeeper
Jessie Eiselin finished highly in the national ranks in several statistical categories last season, helping her earn a spot on the CAA All-Rookie Team.
The Hawks open the 2024 season at home at So Sweet A Cat Field with a contest versus Lehigh at 12 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 31.
