RICHMOND, Va. - Monmouth University women's lacrosse goalie Katie Sullivan has been named to the CAA All-Rookie Team, the conference office announced Wednesday.

Sullivan, who was honored as the CAA Rookie of the Week following her performances against Rutgers and Columbia, had a number of standout efforts during her first collegiate season. The Gainesville, Va., native closed the regular season ranked eighth in the NCAA in total saves with 166 and fifth in the nation in saves per game with 11.07. Sullivan posted a .469 save percentage on the year, good for 19th in Division I.

Sullivan set a season-high and equaled the Monmouth program record with 22 saves against Georgetown and had 17 saves on two other occasions, including a 14-13 victory over William & Mary. In total, Sullivan had double-digit saves in 11 of 14 starts and backed Monmouth in additional wins over Columbia, Quinnipiac and Campbell.  In the win over the Bobcats, Sullivan limited them to seven goals and totaled 12 saves.
