WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ – Monmouth University Men's Lacrosse graduate goalkeeper Tommy Heller was named CAA Defensive Player of the Week, conference officials announced Monday afternoon.
 
Heller made 16 saves in Monmouth's win over LIU, one shy of a program record, and picked up a win in his first start at MU. Heller posted a .615 save percentage and picked up three ground balls. The graduate student allowed just five even strength goals in making his first start as a Hawk.
 
MU is back on the field this Saturday, hosting Princeton at 12:00 p.m.
