Jess Tucker Named to NFHCA Senior Team

November 22, 2024

MANAHAWKIN, N.J. – Midfielder Jess Tucker of the Monmouth University Field Hockey Team was named to the 2024 National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Senior Team, the organization announced.

The NFHCA congratulates the 38 athletes from 32 Division I institutions who have been named to the 2024 Senior Team. This honor reflects not only their performances throughout the season, but also their enduring impact on and off the field. The NFHCA applauds their lasting contributions to the sport.

With the honor, Tucker becomes the third Hawk to earn Senior Team recognition joining Ireen Franken in 2020 and Josephine van der Hoop in 2019.

Tucker finished the 2024 season setting career highs in goals (10), assists (7) and points (27) with her point total leading the Hawks offense. Her six goals in conference games were the most of any CAA player, as well as her 15 points. Tucker recorded three multi-goal games, including her first career hat trick in Monmouth's 10-1 victory over William & Mary on Nov. 1.

The New Zealand native will depart West Long Branch after accumulating 66 career points – a mark that ranks 15th in program history.
