RICHMOND, Va. – After four first place finishes versus Manhattan, Monmouth University men's swimmer
Owen Dyson was named the Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) Men's Swimmer of the Week by league officials.

Dyson becomes the first Hawk honored by the league this season after leading Monmouth to a 208-46 win over the Jaspers.

Dyson started his day by swimming the opening leg for a victorious 200 medley relay. He and the Hawks posted a time of 1:35.09.

He won the 100 backstroke with a time of 52.03. Dyson then secured a first place finish in the 100 freestyle with a time of 47.22.

Dyson capped off his meet by swimming the opening leg of the 200 freestyle relay. He and the Hawks posted a time of 1:27.50 to win the event.

Dyson finished his meet with a first place finish in every event he swam.

Dyson and the Hawks will return to the pool on December 6 to take part in the ECAC Winter Championship.
