RICHMOND, VA – Monmouth University women's lacrosse junior Caroline Breannan was recognized as the Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) announced its Preseason All-CAA Women's Lacrosse team, as voted on by the league's head coaches.
In addition to Brennan's preseason award, the 2024 CAA Women's Lacrosse Preseason Poll was revealed. Monmouth was chosen to finish sixth in the nine-team league and earned 29 points in the voting.
Brennan is entering her third season at Monmouth and is coming off a sophomore campaign where she earned Second Team All-CAA honors. On attack, Brennan led the team with 58 points on 38 goals and 20 assists, she ranked among the top 10 in the CAA for goals per game (2.24), assists per game (1.18) and points per game (3.41). Brennan, a native of Downingtown, Pa., had 13 multi-goal games, including five hat tricks.
Monmouth opens its 2024 season on February 10 when it travels to Smithfield, RI to challenge Bryant in a noon start.
