BETHLEHEM, PA – The Monmouth University Men's and Women's Cross Country Teams ran in the 49^th annual Paul Short Run at the Paul Short XC Course in Bethlehem, PA on Saturday.

Twenty-four Hawks competed across four races at the meet hosted by Lehigh.

Declan McDonnell paced Monmouth in the Men's Gold 8K race with a time of 24:43.2 to finish in 49^th place overall, while freshman Emily Simko clocked in at 21:35.9 in 83^rd place to lead the women's team. The men placed 36^th out of 43 teams, while the women recorded a 30^th-place finish out of 44.

In the Open 8K, it was freshman Drew Bowker leading the Hawks with a time of 26:11.1 – good for 92^nd place. Brianna Jucewicz paced the Blue & White with a time of 23:39.0 for a 69^th-place finish.
