WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ – The Monmouth University women's lacrosse team was honored for its success in the classroom during the 2022-23 school year as the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) announced its academic awards.Â

The Hawks earned a spot on the IWLCA Academic Honor Squad. Monmouth was one of 102 Division I squads to post at least a 3.2 team GPA for the school year.Â

In addition, 13 members of the women's lacrosse team were named to the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll. To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, players had to be a junior, senior or graduate student and have a cumulative 3.50 GPA.
