RICHMOND, VA – The Monmouth University men's and women's swimming teams were honored by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) when the organization announced its Scholar All-America Teams for the Spring 2023 semester.
 
The award celebrates teams that achieve a grade point average of 3.0 or higher during the past semester. Monmouth's women's swimming team has now earned the award in 11 consecutive semesters, while the men have been recognized in each of the past nine semesters.
 
"The Academic All-America Team recognition is always an important goal for our program," head coach Matt Nunnally said. "I am proud of the consistent effort our student-athletes put forth in the classroom and we will continue to maintain this success in the future."
 
The women's team combined to accumulate a grade-point average of 3.58, while the men earned a 3.47 GPA.
