SOUTH ORANGE, NJ – The Monmouth University men's and women's swimming teams began the road portion of their schedules at Seton Hall on Saturday afternoon at Imperatore Natatorium.  
 
The men's team lost to the Pirates, 178.5-93.5, while the women's team fell by a 189-83 final score.

Jensen Ritter, Dylan Edge and Kacper Sobieszuk each earned individual victories to lead Monmouth's efforts.

Jensen Ritter won the 200-yard butterfly in 2:08.93. Ritter won her fourth race of the year and the 14th of her career. 

Dylan Edge placed first in the 200-yard backstroke in 1:54.63. It was his second victory of the year and the 19th of his career.

Kacper Sobieszuk earned his second victory of the season in the 200-yard IM with a time of 1:58.30.

The Hawks return home on Friday afternoon when they race Iona at Steadman Natatorium at 4 p.m.
