RICHMOND, Va. – Head Coach Carli Figlio and the Monmouth University Field Hockey Team picked up its 10th win of the season with a 4-0 victory at VCU on Sunday afternoon.
 
Freshman Lauren Relik opened the scoring 12:20 seconds into the first quarter after receiving a pass from Jess Tucker. Relik's fourth of the season turned out to be the game-winner, while Tucker tallied her sixth assist.

Both Sofia Fouces and Aylin Aufenacker recorded unassisted goals in the middle frames, and freshman defender Calista Schwartz scored her second goal of the season assisted by graduate midfielder Nora Goddard-Despot to make it 4-0, Hawks, in the fourth quarter.

Goalkeeper Jessie Eiselin recorded her CAA-leading fifth shutout of 2023 with eight saves.

Monmouth has now won double-digit games in eight consecutive seasons.
