WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. – Monmouth University women's basketball head coach
Ginny Boggess announced one addition to her 2024 signing class –
Divine Dibula.
Â
Dibula becomes the second member of the 2024 class to join the Hawks from Canada (
Rosalie Mercille).Â
"I'm thrilled to add Divine to our already strong class," said Boggess. "She has all the intangibles. Her toughness and physical presence defensively coupled with an inside-out repertoire offensively make her a perfect fit. I can't wait to get her on campus."Â
Â
Dibula is from Ottawa, Ontario and attended Ecole Secondaire Publique Gisele Lalonde for high school before moving on to College Champlain Saint-Lambert.
Â
The 6-1 forward played for Marc Patry in high school. She also played for the SLAM Elite club team and head coach George Germanos.Â
Â
At College Champlain Saint-Lambert, she won a Provincial Championship in Quebec during the 2021-22 season. She averaged 7.0 points and 5.1 rebounds per game that season.
Â
This season she was named the Player of the Week after having 19 points, 18 rebounds and eight blocks in a win over Dawson.
