STATEN ISLAND, NY – Returning to Ocean Breeze for the second time this season, the Monmouth University track and field team competed in the Villanova Invitational on Saturday afternoon.

Throughout the event, the Hawks managed to pick up two event wins while posting ten new all-time top-ten marks. Ashley Navarro won the women's 800m race with a time of 2:11.06 (ninth all-time in Monmouth history), while
Louis DiLaurenzio took first in the men's one mile run, clocking in at 4:10.76 (seventh all-time).
