BETHLEHAM, PA- The Monmouth University men's and women's track and field team competed in the Carol and John Covert Classic Saturday, winning 14 events in and setting new records in the Monmouth All-time Top Ten List.

Members of the men's team had an impressive day including
Montel Johnson who placed first and moved into 6
th place all-time at Monmouth with his 60.23 meter hammer throw.
Connor Bennett placed first in the pole vault with a mark of 4.65 meters, which is a good for a new freshman record and fourth all-time at Monmouth.
Louis DiLaurenzio placed first in the 800 meters (1:51.54) and moved into seventh all-time at Monmouth.

For the women's team, Sammi Ragenklint placed first in the 5000 meters with a time of 17:24.50 after missing time due to injury earlier in the year. This moves her into second place all-time at Monmouth.

James Hoffman won the men's 1500 with a time of 3:53.15.

Naeem Green placed first in the 110-meter hurdles coming in at 15.00.

Jalen Jones won the 200 meters with a time of 22.55.
- Sammi Ragenklint (17:24.50) and Mackenzie Jones (17:46.74) finished in the top two spots in the 5000 meters.

Michael Pavicic finished the 5000 meters in 15:21.99, which was the top time on the day.
- The men's 4x400 consisting of
James Hoffman,
Jordan Cooper,
Stone Caraccio, and
Louis DiLaurenzio finished in first with a time of 3:25.10.

Daniel Gilligan competed in the discus and came in first with a mark of 50.14 meters.
- Chibuzo Amonu won the shot put with a mark of 13.44 meters while Prisca Blamon finished in third (13.12m) and Alexis Uzoaru in fourth (12.63).
- Monmouth took the top four spots in the men's shot put:
Brandon Davis (15.74m),
Mujeeb Ali (15.71m),
Daniel Gilligan (15.39m), and
Andrew Huisman (15.18m).

Rickie Casazza competed in the men's high jump and came in first place with a mark of 2.00 meters.

Colson Martin won the long jump with a distance of 6.73 meters.
