EDISON, NJ – Junior forward Liam McGregor (Middletown, NJ/Middletown North) has been named Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, the league announced this afternoon.
 
McGregor scored a goal in both of Monmouth's matches this week.
 
In the 5-0 win over Manhattan on Thursday, he scored on a laser to the near post. Against Iona on Sunday, he gave Monmouth the lead with a sliding tap-in near the goal line.
 
McGregor notched the fourth goal of his career, all within the last seven games dating back to 2019.
 
He wins the award for the first time in his career.
 
Monmouth continues play on Thursday, when it hosts Rider at 4:00 PM.
