"Being recognized as an Academic All-America Team is a goal we always strive for in our program," head coach Matt Nunnally said. "I am proud of their hard work and dedication during an unprecedented semester and am glad to see both teams recognized by the CSCAA for their academic performances."

The women's team combined to accumulate a grade-point average of 3.68, and was one of nine Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference teams to be recognized. At the Division I level, the Hawks were one of 176 women's swimming teams to receive the honor.

Founded in 1922, the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) – the first organization of college coaches in America – is a professional organization of college swimming and diving coaches dedicated to serving and providing leadership for the advancement of the sport of swimming & diving at the collegiate level.
