SERIES NOTES
-Quinnipiac leads the all-time series 23-18.
-The teams met in last season's MAAC semifinals, a memorable contest that saw MU win a shootout, 98-92.
-MU and Quinnipiac came over from the NEC to join the MAAC together on July 1, 2013.
-Since becoming MAAC foes, QU has won eight of the 13 games. Each team won four consecutive contests before the Bobcats snapped MU's streak in 2017.
100 FOR IBIEZUGBE
With an appearance in today's game, Sam Ibiezugbe will have played in 100 career games in the Blue and White. Two teammates, Louie Pillari and Mustapha Traore, have reached the milestone.
TOPPING LAST YEAR
Monmouth topped its win total from last season with its 15th victory over Marist. Another MAAC win would equal the Hawks conference output from a season ago, although there were just 18 league games a year ago as opposed to 20 this season.
CLOSING OUT IN THE HOME CONFINES
With five MAAC games remaining, Monmouth will have the benefit of playing four of them at home, including the final three. With the 2020 MAAC Tournament being held in Atlantic City and with a road game at Rider remaining, MU is not scheduled to leave the state again.
