Richmond, VA — Monmouth men's and women's basketball's official 2026-27 CAA schedules were announced by the conference office Thursday with the Hawks opening up their fifth year in the Coastal Athletic Conference on the road Dec. 31 against Stony Brook and Jan. 1 against UNCW.
For the women, each team will play 18 conference games over a 10-week stretch using a Friday/Sunday format except for the final week of the regular season (Thursday/Saturday). All contests can be seen on FloCollege with some games also airing on local linear television affiliates.
After opening the New Year against the Seahawks, the Hawks visit Charleston Jan. 3 before hosting Towson Jan. 8 in their conference home opener.
All 13 CAA teams conclude the year at the 2027 CAA Women's Basketball Championship, which will be held March 10-14 at CareFirst Arena in Washington, D.C.
On the men's side, CAA competition begins on New Years Eve as Monmouth is one of five teams to tip-off to begin conference play. Each team will play 18 league contests over a 10-week stretch using a Thursday/Saturday conference schedule. All CAA matchups will be available on FloHoops, CBS with select dates on local television partners throughout the league's footprint. National telecasts on CBS Sports Network will be announced at a later date. In addition, the semifinals and final of the 2027 CAA Men's Basketball Championship at CareFirst Arena will be televised on CBS Sports Network.
Following their opening game against the Seawolves, the Hawks return to the Shore Jan. 7 for their CAA home opener against Hampton.
The final game of the CAA regular season schedule lands on Tuesday, March 2 with Monmouth going on the road to face Hofstra.
