SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Monmouth University men's basketball team will take part in the 2026 Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame Tip-Off on Nov. 7, 2026.
 
The Hawks will face Rhode Island as one of two games at the Mohegan Sun Arena. The other game will feature Providence and Nebraska.
 
Monmouth will be facing Rhode Island for just the second time ever. The Hawks and Rams met during the 2008 season in West Long Branch, New Jersey with the Rams claiming victory.
 
"We're super excited to play in the Hall of Fame Tip-Off," said Monmouth head coach King Rice. "This is a great tournament for our school to play in. This field has some great programs in it and we can't wait to be a part of it."
 
Tickets for the 2026 Basketball Hall of Fame Tip-Off will go on sale Friday, September 11, via Ticketmaster and on sale at the Mohegan Sun Arena Box Office starting Saturday, September 12.
