WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ- Monmouth senior Nicole Ceraso (Massapequa, NY/Plainedge) has earned Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week league officials announced on Monday.

Ceraso led all players with seven points in Monmouth's 11-5 win over Sacred Heart last week, scoring a hat trick in her first game of the season. The captain assisted on four other goals - extending her school record to 116 career helpers. Ceraso tallied four of her points in the first half as the Hawks built a 7-2 lead and then scored once more and assisted on two others in the second frame. 

Monmouth is back on the field on Wednesday when they host Long Island University at 2 PM.
