PRINCETON, NJ- Monmouth graduate student Allie Wilson (Wallingford, PA/Strath Haven) continued her outstanding final campaign, crossing the tape in 2:03.81 in the 800 at the Princeton Sam Howell Invitational. The Hawks also had a few marquee performances at the Colonial Relays, hosted by The College of William & Mary in Virginia.
Wilson opened up her outdoor season by taking second place, the first collegian, finishing behind only pro Raevyn Rogers.
Reigning MAAC Track Performer of the Week
Khalid Slocum (Annapolis, MD/Annapolis) took first at the Colonial Relays in the triple jump, clearing 23' 7.5". Additionally, Monmouth had three of the top eight spots in the shot put at Princeton with
Corey Murphy (Yaphank, NY/Longwood) winning the event with a throw of 62' 10". Murphy also placed third in the discus at the Sam Howell Invite with an IC4A qualifying throw of 171' 4".

- At Princeton, Kyle Mueller took third place in the 5K at 14:27, an IC4A qualifier and the fifth best in school history.

- The 4x200 relay team of Bryan Sosoo, Nadale Buntin, Miguerson Joseph and Slocum took third at the Colonial Relays with a time of 1:27.15, which was the fourth fastest time in school history

- Senior Brianna Stratz was the fourth collegian in the 800 at Princeton with at time of 2:07.
- Senior captain Allison Taub took fourth in discus (146') and the shot put (47' 3.75") at Princeton
- Freshman Louis DiLaurenzio took 7th place at Princeton with an IC4A qualifying time of 1:53.23 in the 800
- At William & Mary, Mohamed Diagourga took second overall in the Colonial Relays University Division triple jump with a 45'10.25" effort.
- Randy Showmaker took third in the Colonial Relays University Division Pole Vault, clearing 14'10.25"
- Andrew Tummino (55' 10.25") and Brandon Davis (54' 10.25") were sixth and eighth respectively in the shot put.
- Nadale Buntin took 6th (5th among collegians) in the Championship Triple Jump. On Friday Buntin was fourth among collegians in the 400 with a 48.20 (CR)
- Miguerson Joseph ran a 10.98 (an IC4A qualifier) for 8th among collegians in the 100
- DJ Jackson's throw of 192' in the javelin was good enough for fourth at Princeton
- Mariah Hubbard and Patrice Baston placed fifth and eighth in the triple jump (PU)
- The Hawks had another IC4A qualifier in the hammer with Montel Johnson throwing for a personal best 190' 4" for sixth place
- The 4x100 team of Sosoo, Buntin, Joseph and Slocum came in fourth place (41.74) at the Colonial Relays
- At Princeton, Andrew Tummino was eighth in the discus with a heave of 152' 4".
