Corey Murphy competed well against the nation's best to finish 12
th in the shot put which will earn him 2
nd Team All-American honors.

Chris Tarello had her well-prepared and she executed the plan to get into the field. Corey also competed extremely well. His third throw was his best and one of the top marks in school history. He has put it in an incredible amount of work the last five years to get here with Coach Flores and Coach
Christian Spaulding, and it is great to compete with tenacity on this big stage."
Wilson becomes the first Hawk since
Dylan Capwell '18 in 2016 to advance to the finals at the NCAA Indoor Championships. She qualified by finishing second in the second heat of the semifinal heats. The top three in each of the two heats and the next two best times advanced to the finals. She will compete against Susan Aneno (UConn), Nia Akins (Penn), Danae Rivers (Penn State), Martha Bissah (Norfolk State), Kelsey Harris (Indiana), Rachel Pocratsky (Virginia Tech) and Jazmine Fray (Texas A&M) in the 800-meter finals.
Murphy posted a mark of 63'2.75" to finish 12
th in the shot put and take home 2
nd Team All-American honors. He becomes the 22
nd Hawk all-time to be named an All-American at either the Indoor or Outdoor National Championships. Murphy closes his final indoor season as only the second Monmouth shot putter to ever compete at the National Indoor Championships.
Wilson will compete for Monmouth's first ever national title tomorrow night at 6:30 PM eastern time live on ESPN3. A viewing party will be held starting at 5 PM in Pozycki Hall Room 115 tomorrow night.
