HAWKS ON THE ROAD
Monmouth has four road wins, two of them coming in MAAC play and a pair coming in overtime. MU topped Penn in OT and Siena in an extra session before sweeping a road weekend last week against SPU and Fairfield.
RIDER AT HOME
Rider is 7-2 at home this season, dropping their last two after winning seven to open the year. The Broncs are 4-2 in home MAAC games.
SERIES NOTES VS. RIDERÂ
-Rider leads the all-time series 29-22.Â

-The teams have met twice in the MAAC Tournament, with Rider winning in 2014 and MU winning in 2016.
-The combined score of the 13 MAAC games between the teams have totaled just a 21-point differential in favor of Monmouth.
-The teams split last year, with each home team winning.

TRAORE'S BIGGEST GAME
Mustapha Traore netted a career-high 16 points in the win at Fairfield, including converting a career best seven field goals. He netted the first eight points of the second half, including a thunderous dunk to cap that stretch. Traore also grabbed nine rebounds in the game, narrowly missing the double-double.
FIRST PLACE
For the first time since securing its second straight MAAC regular season title in 2017, Monmouth moved into first place last weekend thanks to the win over Fairfield and other results around the league.
ABSOLUTE LOCK DOWN ON DEFENSE
MU held Fairfield to defensive bests of 27.1% field goal percentage and 15.2% from three. MU held Fairfield to just 49 points, the second lowest output by a Hawks opponent this year. Only one Stag reached double figures, while the Hawks forced Fairfield into 15 turnovers.
MAAC SWEEPS
After sweeping just one MAAC opponent (Siena) a season ago, MU has now taken care of business against three MAAC foes to this point. The Hawks have swept Siena, Saint Peter's and Fairfield and still have the opportunity to win a second time against Rider and Manhattan.Â
MCCLARY'S BEST CAREER GAME
Marcus McClary burst out against Saint Peter's, setting career highs in points with 13, made field goals with five, minutes with 33 and steals with two. The sophomore tied his previous career-mark in the opening half with nine points on a pair of three-point plays and a triple, before knocking down a mid-range jumper and scoring on a steal and breakaway in the second half to finish with 13. McClary has hit his last five three pointers, and is 5-7 for the season from deep.Â
NINE MAAC WINS
Monmouth has the the most wins in the MAAC to this point, with MU winning nine times. There are three other teams with eight wins.
LOOKING FOR THE LONGEST WIN STREAK
Monmouth is looking to win its fifth in a row after putting together two separate four-game winning streaks, having won four straight from 1/12 to 1/20 before having that streak snapped with two losses on the Western New York swing. The Hawks rebounded from that to win their last four. Â
