MILLSBORO, DE –  The Monmouth University bowling team closed its fall semester schedule this weekend at the UMES Hawk Classic at Millsboro Lanes.

For the second consecutive event, sophomore Saige Yamada claimed a spot on the All-Tournament Team, placing second among all individuals with a total of 1,100 pins across five traditional games.

As a team, Monmouth had an 5-8 record during the three-day event, highlighted by traditional match wins over No. 7 Maryland Eastern Shore and No. 14 Tulane.

- Monmouth is 22-15 overall through three competitions in 2019-20.

- The #25 ranked Hawks defeated #14 Tulane and #7 Maryland Eastern Shore for their two Top 25 victories this weekend. Both wins came in traditional matches on Saturday.  

- Monmouth has nine Top-25 wins in the 2019-20 season.

 NUMBERS CRUNCH
- Monmouth's highest pin total in baker format was 966 in the win over Caldwell.

- Monmouth's largest margin of victory was 123 pins in the traditional match win over Tulane (947-824).

- Saige Yamada's second-place finish was the highest of her career. She rolled five 200+ games, including a career-best and team-weekend high 249. Yamada now has 13-career 200+ efforts and eight this season.

- Camelia Coffman rolled two 200+ games, giving her five on the year and 22 for her career. Coffman was second on the team and placed 39th overall.

- Kyla Day threw two 200+ games, including a season-high 213. She has 20 career 200+ games and four on the season.

- Skylar Smith had two 200+ games over the weekend and now has seven-career 200+ games.

 - Erin Mastropietro rolled her second 200+ game of the year with a 211.
