SCOUTING THE HATTERS
Stetson is led by Rob Perry's 15.6 points per game, topping three in double figures for the Hatters. After opening the season 2-0, Stetson has lost three straight, including to MAAC foe Iona last night in Orlando.

STETSON HEAD COACH DONNIE JONES
Entering his 1st season with the Hatters, Donnie Jones has previously spent time as the head coach at UCF and Marshall, winning over 150 games in his time as a head coach.

STETSON AT NEUTRAL SITES

Stetson dropped its first neutral site contest of the season last night to Iona at the MAAC-ASUN Challenge.

HAWKS AT NEUTRAL SITES
Monmouth was 3-4 last season at neutral sites, including winning three MAAC Tournament games to advance to the finals. King Rice has posted a 14-12 record in neutral site contests in his time as MU's head coach after last night's win.

LOCK DOWN DEFENSE
Monmouth posted strong defensive marks in the win over Kennesaw State, matching a defensive low under King Rice in allowing just 40 points, also done in a win over Canisius on 2/8/15.  The Hawks have now allowed 21 points or less in a half three times in six games this season, and the 17 first-half points allowed is Monmouth's lowest allowed in a half since 3/4/16 in a MAAC quarterfinal game against Rider, where MU allowed 16. MU limited KSU to just three opening half field goals.

MAAC-ASUN CHALLENGE
This weekend features the first ever MAAC-ASUN Challenge, with the two leagues facing off against each other in a pair of doubleheaders on Friday and Saturday on both the men's and women's sides. Monmouth and Iona are representing the MAAC on the men's side and will oppose Kennesaw State and Stetson, while Marist and Rider are the MAAC reps on the women's side, facing off with North Florida and Lipscomb.
