NOTES AND QUOTES
"Overall, I was impressed with the way we competed today. Both the men's and women's teams executed our race plans and produced very solid results. The MAAC is a competitive cross country conference and our student-athletes were mixing it up. Sammi's performance was outstanding. She competed like an elite veteran and she's only a freshman. Also, our team depth was very encouraging. We competed well today but there is a lot to be excited about for the future!"
-Monmouth head coach Mike Nelson

-Iona won both the men's and women's MAAC Championship. The men have won for the 29th straight year, while the women have won their fourth straight.
-The men finished with 105 points behind on Iona (15), Siena (80), and Manhattan (101).
-The women earned 128 points, finishing behind Iona (32), Marist (53), and Siena (81).

NEXT UP
-The Hawks will return to action on November 15 for the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional Championships hosted by Lehigh University. This will be the second of the Hawks' three championship races this fall.
