POUGHKEEPSIE, NY- Monmouth University seniors
Caroline Corbliss (Ellicott City, MD/Marriott's Ridge) and
Kate Ryan (Morton, PA/Springfield) along with sophomore
Nicole Ceraso (Massapequa, NY/Plainedge) have earned 2018 All-Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference honors, league officials announced at Wednesday night's pre championship banquet.

Corbliss, a midfielder, picks up her second consecutive MAAC First Team honor. The Ellicott City, MD native finished the regular season with 31 points on 28 goals and three assists, while gathering 29 ground balls and 27 draw controls. Corbliss recorded four points and four ground balls in Monmouth's 14-11 win over Fairfield and finished the conference season with She was named MAAC Defensive Player of the Week for the final week of the season.

Ryan, a second team all-conference selection, earns her first all-conference after nod after moving from the midfield to defense prior the start of the season. The Morton, PA native had 29 ground balls and 20 caused turnovers while starting all 17 contests in the MU backfield.

Ceraso, a second team all-league selection, leads the Hawks in points with 59, including 36 assists for the Blue & White. Ceraso's 2.25 assists per conference game ranks tied for second in the league. Her 36 assists is second all-time in a single season at Monmouth.

Monmouth, the second seed in the upcoming MAAC Tournament, had the lowest representation on the all-league teams with just three selections. Notably missing was senior
Alexa Smith (Westhampton Beach, NY/Westhampton Beach) who ranks second in conference games in scoring and junior
Jenny Staines (Silver Spring, MD/Good Counsel) who is tied in points and has a league-best three game-winning goals.
