COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS – Redshirt senior Dylan Capwell will run in the first of two heats for the 800-meter run at the NCAA Indoor Championships on the campus of Texas A&M University. The race will begin at 8:15 PM eastern time and will be broadcasted live on ESPN3. The top three finishers from each heat will qualify for the finals while the last two spots in the finals will be given to the competitors with the next fastest times.
 
"We are looking forward to having Dylan back in action tonight in his third trip to the Indoor NCAAs," said head coach Joe Compagni. "This is an incredibly challenging meet to earn a spot in with just the top 16 in each event from across the country."

This race will be Capwell's third time competing at the NCAA Championships with all his appearances coming in the 800 meters. In both 2015 and 2016, Capwell was named an All-American and advanced to the finals. At the 2015 championships, he ran to a second-place finish by running his personal best time of 1:46.70 in the finals.
 
Capwell qualified for the NCAA Championships by running a time of 1:47.86 at the Boston University Last Chance meet on February 25. His time was good enough to qualified as the 13^th best time in this event.
