STONY BROOK, NY – After earning 7-0 wins over Niagara, Fairfield, and Siena, the Monmouth University men's tennis team swept their fourth straight opponent as it defeated Stony Brook on Sunday afternoon. Nicola Pipoli earned the #1 singles win by a score of 6-4, 4-6, 6-4, and Przemyslaw Filipek earned the come from behind 2-6, 6-4, 6-2 win at #2 singles. Ale Gomez Estrada also went to a third set, ultimately defeating Stony Brook 6-3, 0-6, 6-3. Monmouth earned two wins during the doubles portion, including the duos of Filipek and Gomez and Christian Vieira and Vikrant Dahiya.
