RICHMOND, Va. – After leading the Monmouth University men's tennis team to a win in its first meet of the spring, Jakob Bonnett and Louis Keller were named the Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) Doubles Team of the Week.
 
Bonnett and Keller teamed for a 6-4 win over Finn Burridge and Elias Hoxha at second doubles for the Hawks. It was the third straight doubles win for Bonnett and Keller this season. 
 
Bonnett and Keller each won their singles match in the contest. Bonnett earned a 7-5, 6-4 win over Burridge at second singles. He has won five straight singles matches and moves to 8-1 in singles action this year. Keller rolled to a 6-2, 6-0 win at first singles over Carlos Braun Simo. He has won four straight singles matches and is now 8-2 on the year.
 
Bonnett, Keller and the rest of the Hawks are back in action this weekend when they host Navy on Saturday, Feb. 7 at 7 p.m. at Park Ave Tennis Center.
