NOTRE DAME, IN – The Monmouth University men's tennis team competed in Illinois and Indiana this weekend, falling 6-1 to DePaul on Friday before dropping Saturday's match to Notre Dame, 7-0. Senior Przemyslaw Filipek defeated DePaul's Alex Galoustian for the singles win on Saturday, 6-4, 7-6 at No. 2.
NOTES
-Also at DePaul, Christian Viera went to a third set after winning the first, eventually falling to Casati 1-6, 6-2, 6-3. Freshman Vikrant Dahiya also played a third set at No. 6, as he fell to DePaul's Tonejc 3-6, 6-2, 7-5.
-The Hawks were swept by the Irish on Saturday, eventually falling by a score of 7-0.
