MONMOUTH-PRINCETON HISTORY
Back in 2005, the two teams played in what still holds as the lowest scoring game in NCAA Division I history. Monmouth registed a 41-21 win on December 14, 2005 in a game that totaled just 62 points combined. The 21 points Princeton scored was also the fewest allowed until George Washington allowed 20 to Saint Louis on January 10, 2008.

LAST YEAR'S GAME
In a high-scoring mid-major affair last year, Monmouth took a 96-90 decision in West Long Branch in a game that featured 109 combined second half points. Current players that played in that game include Austin Tilghman, who was 6-7 from the floor in scoring 18 points. Micah Seaborn had 10 in the win, while Pierre Sarr grabbed five boards. Devin Cannady scored 26 points for Princeton.

MOVING THE BALL
Against Kentucky, Monmouth dished out a season-high 20 assists as a team. 10 different Hawks registered a helper, led by a career-best five from redshirt freshman Ray Salnave. Four Hawks had multiple assists on the afternoon.

HAMMOND IN BIG ARENAS
Deion Hammond netted a career-high 19 points at Madison Square Garden on Saturday, leading the Hawks in scoring for the second time this season. The first time he did it was also at a professional venue, scoring 17 against Seton Hall earlier this season at the Prudential Center.

BIG SAM'S SECOND HALF
For the second time this season, Sam Ibiezugbe put together a strong second half at a high-major. Ibiezugbe went an identical 4-for-5 from the field for eight points at MSG against Kentucky, the same numbers he put up earlier this season in the final 20 minutes at Virginia.
