WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ – On the heels of Monmouth University's first swimming season in over 30 years, head coach Matt Nunnally has announced the program's 2016 incoming class. Both the men's and women's teams will nearly double next year, as they look to build on last season's experience and move up the MAAC ranks.
“I am anticipating both teams showing great improvement heading into the 2016-17 season”, said Monmouth head coach Matt Nunnally. “The large recruiting classes will make our roster much more competitive in the MAAC. These classes will add strength at the front of the event line up as well as depth throughout the individual events. Our relays will also be much stronger with the additions we have made.”
“Expectations for the 2016-2017 season are to see a much improved roster,” added Coach Nunnally. “We also expect to see greater depth and the potential to move up in the conference standings.”
