SOMERSET, N.J. - The Monmouth University men's tennis team claimed two All-Northeast Conference honorees, with Harveer Bhalla (Buckinghamshire, England /Dr. Challoner's Grammar School) earning first team third singles and David Sherwood (Little Egg Harbor, N.J. /Pinelands) logging second team fourth singles, league officials announced on Wednesday.

Bhalla earns All-NEC First Team accolades after posting a 9-3 record at third singles. The sophomore's .750 winning percentage was tops among league competitors at the third singles spot. Sherwood recorded All-NEC Second Team honors this year after going 7-1 at fourth singles. Sherwood's seven wins and .875 winning percentage at fourth singles were each second best in the league.
