Monmouth Cross Country Announces 2026 Fall Event Schedule

The Hawks will compete in six meets across three states

WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. – Monmouth Men's and Women's Cross Country Head Coach Damon Godfrey announced the teams' 2026 fall event schedule Wednesday.

The Hawks will compete in four events in three different states before participating in the CAA Cross Country Championships on Oct. 30 on Long Island, hosted by Hofstra University.

"We're looking forward to competing against some strong programs, and seeing our teams continue to improve each week," said Godfrey. "This schedule provides the right challenges while giving our teams the opportunity to grow as the season progresses."

Monmouth will kick off the campaign on Sept. 4 at the Adelphi Invitational in Garden City, N.Y., before running in the annual Spiked Shoe Classic on Penn State's campus a week later on Sept. 11.

Following a few weeks off, the Hawks will head to Bethlehem, Pa., for the Paul Short Run on Oct. 2, hosted by Lehigh. The final meet before the conference championships is the Princeton Fall Classic on Oct. 16.

The 2026 CAA Championships will begin at 10 a.m. in Bethpage, N.Y. Those who qualify will then head back to Bethlehem, Pa., on Nov. 13 for the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional Championships.
