September 29, 2025

RICHMOND, Va. – Following her two-goal performance in Monmouth's 3-1 victory over Stony Brook on Sunday, senior forward Summer Reimet was tabbed the Coastal Athletic Association Offensive Player of the Week, the conference announced on Monday. Evangeline Perdomo was named the conference's rookie of the week after heading home the go-ahead score against the Seawolves.

This is the third player of the week honor for Reimet this season, who recorded her third brace of 2025 over the weekend in West Long Branch. The Ocean City, N.J., product scored the equalizer midway through the first half, making it 1-1, before giving Monmouth a 3-1 lead in the second half.

The CAA Preseason Player of the Year is second in the conference with eight goals and 17 points and now sits tied for ninth place on the program's all-time goals list with 31. Her 73 career points place her in the top 15 on Monmouth's points list, moving her into a tie for 13th.

Perdomo's diving header from 10 yards out late in the first half put the Hawks in front for the first time on Sunday against Stony Brook, netting the Bay Shore, N.Y., native rookie of the week honors for the second time in the last three weeks.

The freshman leads all Monmouth rookies with five points on two scores and one helper. In 10 games played this season, she has made five starts and is averaging 45 minutes per contest.

Reimet and Perdomo collect the fifth and sixth weekly honors for Monmouth this season, having earned five total as a pair.

The Hawks, who earned their first CAA victory of the year on Sunday against the Seawolves, will look to make it two wins in a row when they head to Philadelphia on Thursday to take on Drexel. Kickoff from the Vidas Athletics Complex is set for 6 p.m.
