RICHMOND, Va. – Following a 10-win regular season, Monmouth women's soccer's
Summer Reimet and
Chloe Messer have been selected to the All-CAA First Team, as voted on by the conference's head coaches and announced by the CAA offices on Wednesday afternoon.
Grace Notarfrancesco garnered second-team recognition,
Ashley Lavrich landed on the third team, and three-time CAA Rookie of the Week
Evangeline Perdomo earned a spot on the conference's all-rookie squad.
The all-conference teams consist of three squads of 11 players each and an all-rookie team. The full list of awards is below.
The Hawks went 10-5-2 in the regular season and 5-3-1 in conference play, earning the top spot in the conference's North Division. Monmouth had two separate five-game winning streaks in 2025, the first time that has been accomplished by the program since 2017.
This marks the fourth consecutive year since the Hawks joined the CAA prior to the 2022 season that they have had at least five honorees on the postseason all-conference squads, totaling 25 over that timespan under Head Coach
Kylee Flynn.
Reimet lands on the first team for the second straight year after leading the Hawks with nine goals and 22 points, earning three CAA Offensive Player of the Week awards in the process. The 2024 player of the year climbed the Monmouth record books this season, ascending to ninth on the program's all-time goals list with 32 and 12
th on the points list with 78.
The senior from Ocean City, N.J., had three two-score games this season and led Monmouth in scoring for the third time in her four years in West Long Branch.
Messer earns her first all-conference recognition following a season of strong midfield play and a pair of clutch goals. On the offensive side of the ball, the Jackson, N.J., product set a new career best with three goals, including back-to-back second-half game-winners against Drexel and Hofstra. On Oct. 2 in Philadelphia, the junior's 50
th-minute score was the difference in a 1-0 shutout victory over the Dragons. Three days later, Messer's half-volley from the top of the box in the 88
th minute put the finishing touches on a 2-1 come-from-behind victory against the Pride.
After earning a preseason All-CAA nod, Notarfrancesco earned her spot on the conference's second team, the first-career postseason honor for the sophomore center back. The Mechanicsburg, Pa., product anchored a Monmouth defensive line that tallied seven shutouts and has held each of its last eight conference opponents to one or fewer goals. Over the last seven contests, Notarfrancesco's defense has led Monmouth to a 5-1-1 mark and has allowed just three goals with four shutouts over that span.
Lavrich, a fellow sophomore, earns third-team recognition after landing on the all-rookie squad a season ago. The second year forward led the team with six assists and was second behind Reimet with 12 points and three goals. Four of her six assists came in conference play, including a two-helper game against Hampton on Oct. 16. She also scored a goal against the Pirates, marking her first-career four-point outing. Lavrich's loudest moment this season came as the clock was winding down in the Hawks' second game of the year, scoring a 90
th-minute goal from near midfield to give Monmouth a 3-2 victory over Bucknell on the road.
After scoring three goals and adding an assist this year, resulting in three separate CAA Rookie of the Week awards, Perdomo secures her spot on the conference's all-rookie team. The Bay Shore, N.Y., product wasted no time putting her name on the scoresheet, tallying an assist in the season opener against Seton Hall. Her first score came in the non-conference finale against Columbia, the lone Monmouth goal in a 1-1 draw. In conference action, Perdomo scored against Stony Brook and Towson, helping the Hawks to a pair of victories.
Monmouth, which earned the best record in the CAA's North Division, will serve as the top seed and is set to host a conference semifinal on Sunday against the winner of Thursday's match between No. 2 Stony Brook and No. 3 Hofstra. Kickoff from Hesse Field on the Great Lawn in West Long Branch, N.J., is set for 1 p.m. on FloSports. Admission is free of charge.
