WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. – The Monmouth women's soccer team and head coach Kylee Flynn announced its 28-player 2026 roster Wednesday.
The Hawks return 18 players from last season's squad that won 11 games and earned the CAA North Division Regular Season title. Eight freshmen and two upperclassmen transfers join Monmouth for the upcoming campaign.
"We're excited about the group we'll have on campus this fall," said Flynn. "Returning 18 players from last year's roster gives us a strong foundation of experience, leadership and familiarity with our standards and expectations. That veteran core will be instrumental in helping integrate a talented incoming class."
The Hawks are led by 2025 All-CAA selections Chloe Messer, Grace Notarfrancesco, Ashley Lavrich and Evangeline Perdomo with the four combining for 36 points a season ago. Led by Lavrich, Gehret, and rising sophomore Marie Bouge, seven of the team's eight goal scores from 2025 also return to West Long Branch.
Three of the team's four starting defensemen are also back in blue and white this season, anchored by rising senior center back Cadi Hoke. Tallulah Miller, who started all 14 games in goal before missing the end of the season due to injury, will be back for her second year on The Jersey Shore.
Former Butler goalkeeper Addie Marshall and Brookdale Community College striker Bella Tomassini join the Hawks as transfers this season. Marshall spent four seasons in Indianapolis before coming to Monmouth. The Indiana native last appeared in a match in 2023 and earned a spot on the BIG EAST's Weekly Honor Roll.
Tomassini makes the jump to DI following an incredibly productive rookie season at Brookdale, where she scored 26 goals and was named a NJCAA First-Team All-American. She was credited with eight game-winning goals and found the back of the net in 13 of her team's 15 contests.
Eight freshmen are also set to make their collegiate debuts in West Long Branch this season. English forward Scarlett Leary and Dutch defender Saar van der Boom make the hop across the pond after playing in professional academies in Europe for the past two seasons.
Four newcomers hail from New Jersey as forwards Daniella Butash and Olivia Capecci and defenders Kaitlyn Brownlie and Keala Cicchino will stay in their home state for school. Midfielder Nikki Nguyen comes to Monmouth from Lititz, PA, while Plantation, Fla., product Victoria Burns rounds out the incoming rookie class.
Of the 28 members of the 2026 roster, 23 originate from New Jersey, Pennsylvania or New York as the Hawks continue to build a local roster.

"Most importantly, we have a group that is committed to our culture and driven to continue raising the standard of our program," Flynn continued. "We're looking forward to getting everyone back on campus soon, getting to work, and seeing this team grow together throughout the season."
Flynn will enter her 16th season on the Monmouth coaching staff in 2026 and her fourth as the head coach. The two-time CAA Coach of the Year has produced 25 all-conference selections in four years and led the Hawks to three CAA regular season championships. Flynn will once again be joined on the sideline by Associate Head Coach Taylor Laverty, who joined the staff in 2022, and Assistant Coach Justin Howell, entering his third season on The Shore.
The Hawks will return to campus in late July with preseason competition set to begin early in August. The full schedule will be released in the coming weeks.
