Â
The Hawks ran their win streak to three straight matches with their second straight shutout.
Â
Monmouth got the scoring started early in this one as a goal in the sixth minute put the home team on the board. Junior

Marcin Kluz slotted it home for the goal.

The teams traded opportunities in the second half. The Hawks were buoyed by three second half saves from Johnsen. Senior
Patrick Osiecki, sophomore
Kevin DeCapua and junior
Andrea Croce all put shots on goal as the Hawks closed out the 2-0 win.
NOTESÂ
AND QUOTES
"It was a nice win tonight. We played quite well creating chances in the first half. Two nice goals from two freshmen. Both goals were scored off of passes from
Jakob Friedman. In the second half we did a good job of staying compact and creating a few chances on the counter. It was a good result at home."

Robert McCourt
