August 25, 2025

RICHMOND, Va. – After tallying a combined 11 points in two wins this week, Monmouth women's soccer's Summer Reimet was tabbed Coastal Athletic Association Player of the Week, while freshman Marie Bogue was named Rookie of the Week, the conference announced on Monday.

The Hawks' attacking duo earns the program's first weekly honors of the season. Reimet picks up player of the week honors for the second time since the start of 2024.

Reimet secured her first points of 2025 on Thursday against Bucknell, netting the team's first goal and recording the primary assist on the game-winner in the Hawks' 3-2 victory over the Bison. She followed up her seventh-career game with at least three points with a two-goal burst in Monmouth's 2-0 shutout over Pitt on Sunday, marking the fourth time in the last two years she has found the back of the net twice.

With the seven points over the last two games, the Ocean City, N.J., product matched her career-high for points over a two-game span. Her 63 career points move her into sole possession of 19th place on the Hawks' all-time list, while the three scores this week put Reimet into a three-way tie for 14th place on the program's goal list with 25.

Through four games this season, the CAA Preseason Player of the Year leads Monmouth in goals (three), points (seven), shots (11) and shots on goal (nine).

Bogue tallied points in each of the Hawks' wins last week, earning rookie of the week honors for the first time. On Thursday in Lewisburg, Pa., the freshman picked up the first point of her college career, assisting on Reimet's score before netting a goal of her own in the second half to give Monmouth a 2-1 lead.

On Sunday against Binghamton, the Schenectady, N.Y., native picked up the primary assist on Reimet's second score of the afternoon. After her four-point week, Bogue is tied for the team lead with two assists.

The Hawks, who have won two straight, will look to make it three in a row when they host Temple on Sunday in West Long Branch. Kickoff from Hesse Field on the Great Lawn is set for 1 p.m. on FloCollege and NBC Sports Philadelphia.
