WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ – Monmouth University head coach Robert McCourt announced nine student-athletes who are set to join the Hawks for the 2025 season. 
 
This year's class includes Jessy Bichler, Tommy Damiano, Cam Lawrence, Marcin Kluz, Raul Garcia, Elias Stingl, Andrea Croce, Alex Hegdahl and Erik Annborn.
 
Meet the Newest Hawks:
 
Jessy Bichler (Quebec, Canada): Bichler was part of the State All-Star Team and a team captain for the Quebec State team. He was the Rookie of the Year for all sports at Cegep Garneau. He also served as the Captain of the Royal Select Beanport.
 
Tommy Damiano (Randolph, NJ): Damiano was a three-time MLS Next Mid-Atlantic Champion and a three-time MLS Next Cup Qualifier. He was part of a squad that qualified GA Cup Tournament in 2024.
 
Cam Lawrence (Norfolk, Mass): Lawrence is a transfer from Bryant University where he logged over 2,400 minutes in 31 matches. He helped the Bulldogs win the America East Championship and advance to the NCAA Tournament in 2023.
 
Marcin Kluz (Monroe, NY): Kluz won an MLS Next Flex event in Maryland and won the MLS Next League North East Division. He had a tryout for the U15 Polish National Team. 
 
Raul Garcia (Madrid, Spain): Garcia is a transfer from Governors State, part of the NAIA. He was a First Team All-Conference selection who helped Governors State win a regular season and tournament championship. He had four goals and 12 assists in two seasons.
 
Elias Stingl (West Long Branch, NJ): Stingl is a transfer from Butte College where he started 24 games as a sophomore and tallied three goals and six assists. He earned All-Region and All-American honors after being named his conference's Defender of the Year.
 
Andrea Croce (Rome, Italy): Croce most recently played at Governors State where he was an NAIA Third Team All-American. He had 17 goals and nine assists while leading his squad to the NAIA Nationals Second Round. As a freshman he tallied three goals and two assists. 
 
Alex Hegdahl (Verdal, Norway): Hegdahl is a center back who joined the Hawks for the Spring 2025 semester. He played his club soccer for Verdal Idrettslag, Levanger fotballklubb and Ranheim idrettslag.
 
Erik Annborn (Helsingborg, Sweden): Annborn is a center back who joined the Hawks for the Spring 2025 semester. He played his club soccer for Helsingborgs IF.
