West Long Branch, NJ – Monmouth University's
Jack Collins was named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Honors Court Thursday, the organization announced. To earn this honor, a student-athlete must post a grade point average of a 3.2 or above.
Collins is the 14
th Hawk under
King Rice to earn NABC Honors Court recognition, and this marks the ninth consecutive season that Monmouth has had an honoree.
Collins recently concluded his junior season, notching his 1,000
th career point and starting every game for the Hawks while leading the team in steals and minutes played. He scored in double figures 17 times, including in both games of the CAA Tournament.
