th RBI of the season, while
Jayla Cadena doubled as Monmouth fell 14-1 to Stony Brook in Sunday's series finale at University Field.
The Hawks produced five hits in the contest and put together their strongest offensive frame in the fifth inning, breaking through against Stony Brook's starter.
Scotti delivered the big swing in the fifth, lining an RBI double to the left-center gap to score
Isabella Slape and get Monmouth on the board. The sophomore shortstop finished 1-for-3 with a double, her fifth of the season.
Cadena added her sixth double of the year and also went 1-for-3, while junior
Kaitlynn Place continued her productive weekend with a single and the outfield duo of
Sammy Miller and
Kylee McLain also recorded hits.
