Tallulah Miller Earns CAA Defensive Player of the Week Honors

October 06, 2025

RICHMOND, Va. – Monmouth women's soccer goalkeeper Tallulah Miller was tabbed the Coastal Athletic Association's (CAA) Defensive Player of the Week, the conference announced on Monday.

Miller, who earns her first CAA accolades, made eight saves while allowing just one goal across a pair of Monmouth victories this week.

On Thursday at Drexel, Miller made four stops between the pipes, allowing Chloe Messer's second-half score to be the difference in a 1-0 Hawks win, marking the graduate student's fourth clean sheet of the season.

She followed up her strong performance against the Dragons with another four-save outing in the team's 2-1 come-from-behind triumph over Hofstra on Sunday in West Long Branch. After surrendering a goal in the opening 10 minutes, Miller was flawless for the remainder of the game, keeping the Pride scoreless the rest of the way and allowing the Hawks' offense to complete the comeback.

Sunday marked the ninth game this season with at least three saves for Miller. In the eight games this season she has allowed one or zero goals, the Hawks are 7-0-1. The Mechanicsville, Va., product's goals against average has fallen each of the past four games and is down to 1.32 per contest, and she has a 71.1 percent save rate through 13 games.

This is the third straight week Monmouth has been represented in the CAA weekly awards, while Miller becomes the fourth Hawk to receive honors this season. Summer Reimet, the team's leading goal-scorer and point-getter, has been tabbed the offensive player of the week three times, while Evangeline Perdomo and Marie Bogue have combined for three rookie of the week recognitions.

The Hawks, who have won three straight conference contests, will begin a three-match road trip on Sunday when they face Towson. Kickoff in Towson, Md., is set for 1 p.m.
