Evangeline Perdomo Earns Third CAA Rookie of the Week Honor

October 13, 2025

RICHMOND, Va. – Monmouth women's soccer freshman Evangeline Perdomo was tabbed the Coastal Athletic Association Rookie of the Week for the third time this season, the conference announced on Monday.

Perdomo's 39th-minute header was the second score for the Hawks on Sunday, part of a 3-0 road shutout victory over Towson. This season, Perdomo has three goals, two of which have come in conference play. Two of her three tallies this season have given Monmouth the lead.

The Bay Shore, N.Y., product previously won the award after scoring the game's opening goal in a 1-1 tie over Columbia on Sept. 14 and following her game-winning score in the team's 3-1 victory over Stony Brook on Sept. 28.

This is the fourth straight week Monmouth has been represented in the CAA weekly awards, with four Hawks earning a total of eight recognitions this season. Summer Reimet, the team's leading goal-scorer and point-getter, has been tabbed the offensive player of the week three times, while Perdomo and Marie Bogue have combined for four rookie of the week recognitions. Netminder Tallulah Miller earned defensive player of the week honors last Monday.

The Hawks, who have won four straight games and sit in first place in the CAA North, will head south on Thursday to take on Hampton. Kickoff is set for noon.
