Flynn Announces 2025 Incoming Class

WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ – Monmouth University women's soccer head coach Kylee Flynn announced a talented ten-player class that is set to join the Hawks for the 2025 season. 
 
The incoming class includes freshmen Marie Bogue, Ava Bjorndahl, Brooke De Almeida, Alex Dreihaup, Emma Manley, Natalie McGovern, Kieran Meehan, Charlee Perna and Claire Zimmermann along with transfer Tallulah Miller.
 
Bogue is set to join the Hawks from Schenectady, New York. She attends Guilderland High School and plays her club soccer for FC Dutchmen. She is a two-time All-State selection and a three-time All-Suburban honoree. Bogue also earned All-Section 2 accolades as a senior.
 
Bjorndahl is a local product from Point Pleasant, New Jersey. She goes to school at Point Pleasant Borough High School. Bjorndahl is a goalkeeper who led Point Pleasant Borough to the Shore Conference Finals this fall. She had 323 career saves in 63 games played with 52 shutouts. Bjorndahl was a two-time All-Shore selection.
 
De Almeida comes to Monmouth from Brick, New Jersey. She attends Brick Memorial High School and plays her club soccer for the Cedar Stars Academy. De Almeida has 13 career goals with a season-best seven as a junior. She was named All A-South, All Ocean County and All-Shore multiple times in her career. De Almeida is the younger sister of current Monmouth midfielder Emily De Almeida.
 
Dreihaup is set to join the Hawks from Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. She attends Cumberland Valley High School and plays club soccer for PA Classics. Dreihaup earned Mid-Penn Commonwealth First Team honors. She was also part of the ODP Regional Pool.
 
Manley hails from Wilmington, Delaware where she attends Saint Mark's High School. She plays her club soccer for Sporting Athletic Club. She tallied over 40 goals in her high school career. Manley is a three-time All-State selection who led Saint Mark's to a State Championship as a freshman.
 
McGovern comes to West Long Branch from Forked River, New Jersey. She attends Lacey Township High School and plays her club soccer for the Cedar Stars Academy – Monmouth GA. At Lacey Township, McGovern registered 181 career points on 68 goals and 45 assists. She has earned All-County and All-Shore accolades in multiple years. McGovern led her squad to the South Jersey Group 3 State Championship as a freshman. 
 
Meehan hails from Lyndhurst, New Jersey and attends Lyndhurst High School. She is a goalkeeper for TSF Academy. She made 77 saves in one season for Lyndhurst. She was nominated for best senior girls soccer player and got 7th place out of 112 people. 
 
Perna is from Rockaway, New Jersey where she attends Morris Knolls High School. Perna plays her club soccer for STA 2007 GA. She is a four-year starter and three year team captain. She tallied 27 goals and 19 assists in her career. Perna led her team to the Champions Cup three times and earned All-County and All-State. She is the younger sister of recent Monmouth women's soccer alum Maddison Perna.
 
Zimmermann comes to Monmouth from Riverton, New Jersey where she attends Holy Cross Preparatory Academy. She plays her club soccer for the Sporting Athletic Club. Zimmermann is a two-time First Team All-Conference selection. She was a 2024 South Jersey All-Star Selection. Zimmermann led her team to a 2022 BCSL Championship. 
 
Miller joins the Hawks as a graduate student goalkeeper from the University of Kentucky. There she played in 20 games and made 17 starts. She had 49 career saves which led to seven wins and three shutouts against SEC competition. Prior to that Miller was a standout high school and club player in Virginia. She led her club squad to two ECNL Regional League Virginia State Cup Championships. Miller was also selected for the US Youth ODP East Region National and International Teams.
