NEWARK, Del. – The Delaware Blue Hens defeated the Monmouth University Softball Team in the second game of a three-game weekend series by a final score of 7-2.
Delaware scored two runs in each of the first two innings, and added their fifth run of the game on a RBI single in the third. Monmouth would not cross home plate until the sixth inning on a two-out, two-run double by senior catcher
