OPENING TIP
• The Hawks make their final road trip of the regular season when they visit Towson on Thursday night.
• MU is coming off a 66-50 win over Hofstra on Sunday that stretched its current win streak to five straight games. It's the second time this season the Hawks have had a win streak of at least five contests.
• Monmouth puts its 11-game road win streak to the test when it visits the Tigers. The Hawks enter play this week tied for the third longest road win streak in the country.
• This will be the second meeting of the season between the Hawks and Tigers. Monmouth claimed a 64-53 win when the two teams met in early February and now leads the all-time series, 2-1.
• The Hawks win over Hofstra on Sunday gave them 19 wins for the season. It is the first time since 2011-12 that a Monmouth squad has won 19 or more games in a season.
Jania Hall led the Hawks with 13 points against the Pride. It was Hall's 13th game this season in double figures.
• With two games left in the regular season, the Hawks currently sit in a tie for second place in the CAA standings.
• The Hawks enter play Thursday night needing just three more blocks to tie the 1990-91 team for the third most blocks in a single-season at Monmouth.
• Monmouth's win over College of Charleston was head coach Ginny Boggess' 50th on the Hawks' bench.
• Monmouth entered play this weekend ranked fifth nationally in blocks per game (5.9).
• Monmouth pulled down 40 rebounds against Hofstra. It was the 15th time this season the Hawks have pulled down 40 or more rebounds in a game.
Belle Kranbuhl has 721 career rebounds and needs two more to move into the top 10 for career rebounds.

RACKING UP THE WINS  
With the victory over Hofstra on Sunday, the Hawks secured their 19th win of the season and their 12th in CAA play. Monmouth picked up 19 wins or more in a season for the first time since the 2011-12 season. The 12 CAA wins are the most conference wins in a season by a Hawks squad since the 2012-13 team won 12 games. 

JUST CAN'T WAIT TO GET ON THE ROAD AGAIN 
Monmouth plays its final road game of the regular season with the Towson match-up. The Hawks have won 11 straight road games and set the school record for longest  road win streak in the process. Monmouth entered play this week tied for the third longest road win streak in the country. During the current road win streak, the Hawks have outscored opponents by an average of 11.5 points per game and is shooting 42.3% from the field. Both Ariana Vanderhoop (10.8) and Jania Hall (10.5) are tossing in better than 10 points per game on the road.

BE BIG IN THE LANE
The Hawks had four blocks in the win over Hofstra on Sunday. Belle Kranbuhl had two blocks in that contest while Taisha Exanor and Jaye Haynes each added one.

That brings the Monmouth blocks total for the season to 158. The Hawks need three more blocks to tie the 1990-91 (161) team for the third most blocks in a single-season.

So far this season, the Hawks have recorded at least six blocks in 14 of 27 games. The Hawks are 5th nationally in blocks per game (5.9). Monmouth has posted at least eight blocks in a game eight times this season. Kranbuhl leads the Hawks with 67 blocks and ranks 16th nationally in blocks per game (2.48). Twelve different Hawks have recorded at least one block this season.

SEEING DOUBLE
A trio of Hawks scored in double figures in the win over Hofstra as that group included Jania Hall (13), Taisha Exanor (12) and Ariana Vanderhoop. Hall has scored in double figures in 13 games this season. Exanor has reached double figures in five games this season. Vanderhoop has scored in double figures in five straight games and 14 times this season. 

NIFTY FIFTY
The Hawks' win over College of Charleston gave head coach Ginny Boggess her 50th coaching win in her 90th game at Monmouth. She is the seventh coach in program history to reach the 50 win mark. 

700 AND COUNTING
Center Belle Kranbuhl had five rebounds for the Hawks at Hofstra. That gave her 208 rebounds for the season and 721 for her career. Kranbuhl's 208 rebounds are a  single-season career high for the senior. She is the 12th player in program history to record at least 700 career rebounds and the first since Lucy Thomas (701 - 2018-23). Kranbuhl needs two more rebounds to move into the top 10 for career rebounding. 

FABULOUS AT FORTY 
Monmouth finished the game versus College of Charleston shooting 47.9% from the field. It was the 15th time the Hawks have shot 40% or better from the field and Monmouth is 12-3 in those contests. The Hawks posted their best field goal percentage of the season against Drexel at home (51%). Monmouth has now shot 50% or better from the field in three games this season and won all three of those contests (Drexel, St. John's and at Drexel).

CLEANING THE GLASS
Monmouth won the rebounding battle against Drexel, 40-32. Taisha Exanor and Diamond Wiggins each grabbed seven rebounds for the Hawks. Wiggins' seven boards were a career-high for the freshman.

Monmouth has now outrebounded their opponent in 21 games this season. The Hawks entered play Thursday leading the CAA with a +7.8 rebounding margin. 

The Hawks are 13-2 this season when they pull down 40 or more rebounds in a game and 12-0 when they win the rebounding battle by a +10 margin. Belle Kranbuhl is averaging a team-best 7.7 rebounds per game while two other Hawks are averaging better than four rebounds per game.

SCOUTING THE TIGERS
Towson sits at 18-9 overall and 10-6 in CAA play and has won five straight games. Patricia Anumgba leads the Tigers as she is averaging 14.4 points per game. Kylie Kornegay-Lucas does a little bit of everything as she is averaging 12.7 points and 8.1 rebounds per game with 92 assists and 64 steals.

Monmouth wraps up the regular season on Saturday, Mar. 9 when it hosts UNCW at 3 p.m. The Hawks will honor Belle Kranbuhl, Kayla Richardson, Antonia Panayides, Jania Hall, Kaci Donovan and Ariana Vanderhoop prior to the start of the game.
